We use this as a travel bed for our dog whenever we go on trips. He is a 110 Lab and this is just big enough for him to comfortably sleep in. The bed packs up nice and small. With a little work it will fit in his rough-wear large hiking pack. If you travel a lot with your dog, it's nice to have a place they know is theirs where ever you go.
My big dog a 90 lbs black lab/ aussie mix won't leave this bed. It's the perfect size for him to curl up on and it packs up nice for trips and has a decent amount of cushion for how small it gets. I haven't had to clean it yet but it looks like it shouldn't be bad. It would work just as well for my little dog a 25 lbs poodle/ terrier mix if CJ would get off it.
My borderterrier loves this thing. Its light and seems to give out alot of heat. I've previously just brought a little blanket for my dg to sleap on but I can really tell that she likes this thing much better. Also, it dries quickly after having been soaked. It does smell a little I think, but everything else smells too in a tent after a few days on the road so this is probably not a big problem. Maybe its not ideal for really tiny dogs that might just be better off sleeping by your feet on a blanket thats easier to fit in the tent.
