"AMAZING technology and jacket" 02/23/12

This is one of the best things I have purchased in years! I have a soft shell (arcteryx, few years old, no hood cause i used to have dreads that wouldnt fit under it), and I have a goretex shell (arteryx again). So did I really need a soft shell that was water proof??The answer is yes because this jacket is amazing.This breathes, and is a nice quiet soft shell and after several monsoons in SF, it definitely works as well! Its a bit longer than I was anticipating. I also originally ordered a small since I'm sm in patagonia, but I found it tight across my shoulders and chest so I swapped it for a medium.

"Great jacket but need to exchange XS because too tight around armpits and upper arms" 11/18/11

I bought this jacket in XS. Waterproof/breathable material is fantastic, but need to exchange because it's too tight around the armpits and upper arms (which is unfortunate because the sleeves fit my short arms perfectly). The jacket feels okay with my Icebreaker 260 baselayer, but it feels too tight with my MH MicroChill Zip T. The watertight zipper requires extra work, and you definitely need two hands to zip from chest to chin because the hood pulls the upper part of the jacket backwards. The fabric is very smooth and I love the butter jersey cuffs with thumb holes and the brimmed hood. The length is adequate, but would prefer a couple more inches. All in all, a great jacket!

I bought this jacket in XS. The jacket feels okay if I'm only wearing a thin baselayer, but too tight with anything heavier. Also would prefer a couple inches more in the length. All in all, a great jacket!

"Pretty Bomber" 10/06/11
