"The best synthetic 0 degree I could find"
After having both my 30 degree and my 0 degree bag stolen I did a lot of research before deciding which bag to invest in next. I spent a lot of time researching bags with a good weight/warmth ratio and for the price you can't beat this guy. I haven't used it for any extended camping trips yet, but the other night I hiked up to Boreas Pass to watch a meteor shower and it was absolutely clutch. Considering it was 6 degrees outside, I was plenty warm in this guy with a little help from an inflatable pad and some whiskey. It fit in my stuff sack very nicely and I was able to pack it along with everything needed for a winter overnight trip in a 35 liter bag (mind you, I love food).Overall, very comfortable, very warm, and the little pocket by the hood is pretty nice for the phone.
Waiting for mine to arrive in the mail, but I tried it out elsewhere before making the purchase to see if I needed the regular or long version. At 6'2 I definitely fit in the regular, but I think it's worth the extra space so that my feet aren't jammed against the walls compromising loft while the opening is nice and snug around my face and above my shoulders. I'm excited to try it in the cold weather, as well as in my bivvy bag, where I usually end up with condensation on the outside of my sleeping bag, so my down bag wasn't cutting it in the cold, wet, Cascade mornings. I like how compressible this bag is for synthetic one, and almost as light as my down bag.
