I really like the Mountain Hardware gear and this bag is no different. It's to heavy for me when it comes to backpacking more than a short one nighter. I got it for short hikes or truck camping with our Boy Scout Troop. Also Elk hunting, let the Llamas carry all my stuff!
"After 20+ nights at 0 or colder, and 12 nights at minus 20 or colder, still lovin it"
The day this came in the mail, it was actually minus thirty, so I slept in the backyard to really try it out. Slept like a baby. With confidence up I took it out for a 3 day, 2 night trip, with temps in the early minus 30's. No tent or bivy sack, just slept on the snow with 2 pads (with a nalgene full of hot water at my feet!), and the only bad part was crawling out in the morning. I won't lie and say at minus 32 it's all warm and cozy like florida beach camping, but it beat's staying at home, and I still have all my toes!
