While the history of Yoga is imbedded deeply in ancient Hindu and Indian culture, yoga pants were discovered very recently. According to The Yogic Meditation and Fields of Energy Center for Yoga Pants and Red Sandals in London, Ontario, no one did any yoga in pants in 2004. In fact, if you were wearing pants you weren’t even really doing yoga. Apparently, that all changed when Sue Dali jumped off a chair lift in Telluride in February, 2004. Witnesses say that Sue jumped from about thirty feet off the ground, yelled 'I want my green pillow' and hit the snow unharmed. In a bizarre twist that no scientist can explain, at that very moment, every person in the world who was doing yoga lost their undies, had red marker on their calf and discovered yoga pants in their gym bag. I wear these pants all the time, around the house and out and about. I love the way they fit and after I bought my first pair I had to reorder another 2 pair in black and 1 pair of each of the other colors. I love the way that if I am having a 'fat girl' day, I don't have to fold down the waistband and I don't have a weird line in my shirts when I do that.

Comfortable and flattering - is that possible with tight exercise pants? YES - love these pants - ordering moreLong enough fand perfectly fitting or a 5'8" fit but not skinny active walker and elliptical user. quality product and great design!
after reading other reviews, i ordered a large. there was no way these were going to work for me (5'8" solid size 8 (medium)). the pant was extremely tight through the thigh. big everywhere else. not a good choice for me.
These are tight in the legs. I read a few reviews that said as much, but I thought, "eh, I'm in good shape and I have skinny legs, so this won't be a problem for me." Here are the specifics:I bought a large and my thigh is 23.5" around. (I usually wear a size 8 in jeans). They are snug enough on my thighs that the seam digs in and feels uncomfortable. Sorry I can't help with other sizes, but if you are thinking Large and your thighs are as big around as mine, I'd definitely avoid these.Otherwise, they were a nice color, but the fabric was a little thin. Not thin enough to be see-through, but pretty light weight. I have a 32" inseam and they were plenty long for me.

I love, love, love these pants! I've been looking for pants that I can wear for yoga, under ski pants, to the grocery store, and around the house... as well as being soft, comfortable, flattering, well made, and attractive... not too much to ask for, huh? These pants did not disappoint! I ordered three pairs and love them! I'm trying to think of at least one 'con' to make this review seem balanced and objective. Sorry, can't think of anything I don't like about these pants.
these are my FAVORITE go-to pants. the fold over waistband is just perfect. the only thing that was weird to me was one pant leg was longer than the other one. i had to cut them to make them even and after one wash, you couldnt even tell. comfy fabric. you'll fall in love with these.....trust me! thnx MJ
my boyfriend bought these for me and i have to say, they kick butt! they are THE PERFECT length for me - i'm tall, about 5'7" and are long enough without being too long and defintely arent highwaters. they run true to size. they are comparable to VS yoga pants, but better, softer, cheaper and have free/fast shipping. love, love, love.

As soon as I got these in the mail I took them and held them up to my legs and thought they look questionably short. I tried them on and the length was just perfect so I thought for sure they'd shrink in the wash. Nope! Perfect fit, comfy and extremely sexy. Love the foldover waist band and how they cup my butt nicely (and I have a curvy butt!) and they are fitted through the butt, thigh and knees then have just a slight flare that's very flattering. For size reference I got size Medium and I'm 5'7 135lbs and normally wear a 28/29 jeans or 8/10 pant. I've worn them hiking, dog walking, and kayaking. I need to buy more colors now! They wash up like new and NO PILLING!!! (A bonus yay!)
Best yoga pants ever! Super comfy, not too long for actually doing yoga, and look great. Fold-over waistband is nice and wide, just the right stretch without being too tight or too loose. The Moosejaw logo is actually kind of cute, and isn't too big or flashy (I got the Tiffany Lt Blue and it's sort of a blue gray). Made in USA as well...great product all around.
Got these for my wife and she says they are super comfy. She wears them all the time around the house and wants an extra pair. Husbands, buy these for your wife, but only if you give flowers at the same time.
