"Lightweight warmth" 01/10/13

This jacket was worth every penny! It packs down to grapefruit size by flipping it, and it's sized so you can layer underneath if you want, or over if you want to smush it. It doesn't make my hair stand up (thank you Moosejaw!) and the black helps me blend into the background. I don't feel like the StayPuft Marshmallow Man wearing it, either. I haven't had a chance to see how it does with wind, but it definitely performs on the warmth scale.

"Great quality, good fit, warm. recommend for a light warm layer" 11/11/12

Well made shirt that stuffs nicely and makes a great pillow. Used as a layer under rain jacket for warmth. Would not recommend this as an outer layer if temps are below 40 degrees as it does not have enough stuffing. The large is a comfortable fit on my 6 foot 200 pound torso.

"Great Jacket for eating Paella!" 09/17/12

I have two Randy Pistaciao jackets - one purchased at (almost) full price and the other recently ordered at more than half off. Awesome jacket. Soft, shiny and light on the body, it feels great to wear, keeps me warm and all I need is just a warm, wet towel to wipe off the paella sauce!C'mon, folks. Moosebutt is just awesome. ;)

"Fantastic performance to price ratio" 09/03/12

Having looked around at the options for down jackets I listened to the postivie reviews and got this one. It's a well built pull over that is light weight and warm. Packs down small. I'm very happy I went with it. There are inside pockets behind the outside pockets to tuck your hand warmers. I found it true to size for me as an XL.

"Warm in moderately cold temps." 08/02/12

This did keep my warm into the low 30's with a base layer, but I was a little disappointed in the loft. Since I got it for such a great price, I really have no complaints, but if I had paid the original $150, I may have exchanged it. Overall, for the price I paid, I love the jacket, although mine didn't have a Moosejaw flag in the pocket as described :(

"Light and comfortable" 07/16/12

I really liked it at 285 lbs and 6 foot tall though the XXL was a little to small though. Now that I am 240 lbs though it fits perfect. I had to get a second one a little smaller for next winter though as anticipate loosing more weight and do not want to be without it this jacket this winter.

"instant awesome." 06/27/12

I put this on and instantly needed to take a nap with the box it came in.super warm, easy to pull on and off and i just stashed it into the pocket of my pack in no time. highly recommended if you're looking for a good warm layer.

"Warm and Comfortable" 04/26/12

Its a down sweater and its pretty fantastic. The down is thick and soft and will keep you plenty warm through any winter paired with a shell. The outer fabric is very shiny but it still looks good. The two side pockets (made with small zippers to minimize visibility) make great hand warmers or places to store gear.

This is the lightest jacket I've ever owned. So, naturally, it packs very well! I'll keep this in the pack year round to have on nights when the temp dips and fire isn't easy. Plus, it packs into a small pillowcase very well and doubles as my hiking pillow/ Love it!

"Its worth it" 03/28/12

This is the lightest jacket I've owned. It will stay in my pack year round. That way, I have it if the temp dips more than expected, but also, it stuffs very nicely into a small pillowcase and doubles as my pack pillow. Love it!

I bought the Moosejaw Men's Randy Pistacchio Down jacket for my BF. He likes it so far! Arrived quickly, warm, seems well made! It fit really well.Plus, can't beat the sale price.
