We made a version of this pullover fleece last year and on any given day you’ll see at least ten people at Moosejaw wearing it. The smooth-faced fleece 1/4 zip is back by employee demand. This year we paired the new design with another jacket in the line, the Scruffy Casella Hooded Softshell and worked with fabrics and fit to make sure that layering the two provide ease of movement, warmth and a ‘matchy, but not-too-matchy’ combo right for an early commute or a dinner out. I asked the girl across from me to help me come up with a description for this fleece and now she’s just going on about her pet gerbil. I was paying attention until the jerk who sits behind me g-chatted me a picture of a koala sticking out his tongue. Now the rest of my day is basically shot. Get em while they're hot!!! Great worn by itself or as a base layer. Love the materiel and the fit. Zippers are durable and will stand the test of time for sure. The pockets are "mesh lined" and materiel is super fast drying. This was my first piece from the Moosejaw line and I cant get over the quality and functionality.I said it once, I'll say it again "Must own, get em while they're hot"
I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday in Black. I love the way it looks on him and he tells me that it's super warm but not overheating. He wears it a lot over a button down and leaves it on all day. My only complaint (and it kills me to have to complain about it because overall we're both happy with it) is that about 3 weeks in the chest pocket has begun to unravel at the bottom. I wanted to send it back but he won't let me. It's more irritating because the jacket doesn't have hand pockets. But overall, it looks fantastic on him, the material is great, and he loves it. He is about 6'0" and 260 lbs and I purchased a 2XL. Other than the pocket issue, I love it.
Bought one last year, wear it so much had to buy another. This one is a lot more comfortable that last years model. Fits a lot bigger than last year though. Had to order a size smaller.
This makes my hubby look amazing! and from what he says it's uber warm (there should be some dots over the u). he is a bigger dude and this fits perfect. Washes well too!
By far the best Moosejaw item i own. Fits very true to size and love the finish. No signs of wear after several years. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Worth the money.
I'm a huge fan of half-zips. I have several Patagonia R1 pull-overs that I regularly wear. These have been my go-tos until I was given a Moosejaw half-zip for Christmas last year. I found it to be comparable to the Patagonia, but didn't care of surface material as it sticks to any fleece type liner or jacket worn over it. This Jason Mowery is a huge jump from previous Moosejaw half-zips. The material is great (doesn't stick nearly as much), fit is great, and so far it hasn't shrunk in the wash (all of my others tend to do this). I'll more than likely be picking up a few more of these.
This jacket is great. I love the fabric. It is very stretchy but keeps it's form very well. I wear it over my scrubs and it keeps me warm. The grey almost looks pinstriped if you look up close but it's not noticeable over a foot away. I might get another in a different color I like it so much.
"The most versatile garment I've ever owned"

The perfect combination of casual, functional, and stylish. Appropriate for almost any situation. Layers great or a solid fall jacket by itself. Pockets are very spacious.
Other than tees, this is my first Moosejaw brand piece. Very impressed with the material and construction. A chin guard might have been nice on the zipper, but that's nit picking. Overall, it's great! This should take me anywhere from around town to the slopes in style and warmth.Watch out for sizing though. This sucker runs big! According to the size guide, I should be a dead-on medium with 39" chest and 34" sleeve length. It was huge on me though. A tad big in the shoulders, too long in the sleeve and very loose through the torso. Small fit perfectly though. Be sure to size down if you like a trimmer fit.
It may be because I am a sucker for 1/4 zips in general, but I love this jacket. It's a great weight, making it perfect for layering. Casual enough to wear on a morning run. Nice enough to wear to dinner with my girlfriend's parents. Thus, I'd say its pretty awesome.
