I received the bottle just a couple days ago, and even though it came with a couple scratches across the 'd' and 'e,' it doesn't affect the performance. I'm usually always running around and so I'll fill the bottle with mostly ice and then top it off with water and it'll last me the whole day. If I finish the water, I've just got to put in some more water and it's already chilled. I haven't really tried it with hot beverages but seeing as the insulation works amazing for cold liquids, I'm sure it'll work just as well for hot beverages. I will update when I get the chance to use this with hot liquids.Quick Pros and Cons:Pros:-Beautiful brushed design-Gorgeous 'detroit' label-Ice will stay ice for as long as 28 hours.-Cap fits outside the bottle, not screwing inside, so you can cap off your beverage to the top (if you dare)-Loop cap is perfect for looping to harness during climbing spree.Cons:So far, none.
I used to use the non insulated 18 oz Klean Kanteen. It was the perfect size for me but then I sadly lost it... This 16 oz replacement insulated canteen is even better! Why? 1) I prefer the wide mouth, it's easy to clean, and 2) it's winter now, so having insulation is awesome! And it really does insulate for hours unlike another well reviewed bottle I tried. Out of the numerous reusable bottles cluttering my kitchen cabinets this is my current favorite!
When I saw this bottle online I had to get it! I love the tribute to Detroit and it's so functional with the interchangeable lids and design made for hot or cold drinks! It definitely did not disappoint! Love it!
