I absolutely love these new hiking shoes. They are comfortable and have just the right amount of support. Even better, they look great. I haven't tried them in wet conditions yet, but am confident they'll keep my feet dry.
I've had these shoes for nearly a year and have used them in a variety of conditions from long technical day hikes to muddy outdoor music festivals They've outdone themselves in every situation. They're comfortable, lightweight and they don't feel overly clunky like some hiking shoes can. They're also comfortable to stand in, which makes them nice for inclement weather in non-athletic situations. That said, they do take a bit of time to break in - I think they're finally really hitting their stride (so to speak).
I have only worn these shoes a handful of times so far, but overall, I am pleased with them. I work at a nature center, so I'm always running around outside, stepping in who knows what, and these shoes are perfect for that. They are a little stiff, but given time, I think they will break in quite nicely. Also, they run a bit small, so I would suggest buying half a size up if you plan on wearing any type of thicker socks with these.
