The Women's Fuzzy Wuzzy Glove by Marmot. Tuck your digits into the cozy refuge of these gloves and you might forget that it's winter! Marmot MemBrain is entirely waterproof, and knocks down chills by allowing internal moisture to escape. The marriage of stretchable fabric with plush, high-loft fleece makes for unheard-of comfort.
These gloves look good, are very resistant to abrasion, very helpful as for the waterproofing, but one can't count on them for warmth, as others have said. I have used them in summer Patagonia weather (no sknow) and had to wear another pair of gloves beneath them. Using two pairs of gloves was annoying sometimes, but it was not the worst thing on Earth. I will keep my gloves and keep using them like this.
"good waterproofing but no falcon talons"
The good thing is that these gloves are gloves. They aren't the warmest, but the waterproof and windproof aspects are great. The fingers are a little long, and I don't think my fingers are abnormally short.I'm not sure what "falcon grip" is... but I can tell you these gloves do not have talons. (Also, it does not seem there is any added grip.)
I do concur with the others, they are great gloves and warm, but not necessarily the warmest depending on the circumstances. I love the fact they block the wind and look stylish while keeping one's hands a credible degree of warmth. I tend to have cold hands anyway, even down isn't always enough, so I take that into account. Stylish, wind blocking, and will keep you dry in all but the worst of storms.
"Comfortable, not-too-thick, but not as warm as I'd like"
I like these gloves a lot. In the winter I wear them every day and they go well enough with both my Columbia jacket and my nice winter coat--they don't look too much like ski gloves, which I don't want since I'm just using them for every day use. That said, I was hoping they'd be warmer. I'm not expecting gloves like these to keep my hands toasty on long hikes or snowball fights, but getting to and from work shouldn't leave my fingers cold. As long as it's not too cold, they're great, but I'm still looking for decent-looking, really warm, everyday gloves.
I was surprised how thin these gloves are. I wore them in 30 degree weather and my hands were nice and worm, the wind did not get through either. I had a decent grip on the steering wheel. I think these gloves can be used from outdoor activities to daily commutes. Nice all-around glove. I would definitely recommend this.
