I bought this coat to wear around campus and town, and I'm absolutely loving it so far. I wanted a longer coat, but not one that was at my knees. I'm pretty tall (5'10") and have a super long torso, and this coat hits me a few inches below the bum. The area I live in stays close to or below freezing during winter and the down is plenty warm without being too bulky. It has 4 pockets and they're super deep and zip up. Love the fur, love the length, love the warmth.
"This is the Cadillac of Winter Puffy Coats"
Do you live in a cold part of the world, where snow falls with reckless abandon and the wind alone can pick you up or knock you over? Then you need this coat. This coat isn't cheap, but I promise it will be a fantastic investment you won't regret. Why? Because a) it's warm. Like really warm. b)the hood is adjustable, so it stays put in wind c)it can handle that dreadful "wintery mix" that we get d) It's got inside pockets (I'm a sucker for inside pockets) and e) it weighs next to nothing. FYI, I'm 5'2", on the petite side, and a small fits perfectly. I can fit a sweater underneath and don't feel like a sausage. Also, despite being sleeping-bag-like, it actually makes you look pretty nice!
