Well, I almost always read reviews of every product I order! I didn't on this one and paid the price. I wear a small in all over gloves, and the small in this glove looks like a small girl's glove, not women's. I definitely need a medium. Other than that, the glove is fantastic. Warm, nimble as compared to the warmth, etc. Just get the right size and you'll be thrilled.
"Order 1 size bigger than you think you need."
I am usually an XS and I ordered a small, thinking it would be ok. Just received it today, was super excited as I have not yet found a glove that keeps my hands warm. I've tried most gloves, including mitts. Anyway, I am very surprised that it is too small and will have to return it. It's like a child's fit! I've purchased Marmot brand before than their jackets are great, and I"m a women XS so again the bottom line is order 1 size bigger than you think you need.
I wanted a glove to wear while walking my dogs and driving, so I wanted them to be grippy and allow dexterity. I also wanted something in a lighter color to go with my pastel-colored outerwear. These gloves were attractive, and the finger grips were fiarly grippy. However, I decided that for my purposes, I didn't like the idea of having to adjust the wrist strap every time. I am also between sizes, so I ordered down to an XS, which was decidedly too small for me. A small probably would have fit very well, but instead of exchanging for a larger size, I decided to keep another pair I ordered to try that fit better, had more grip, and cost a little less.
These gloves are great as I am wanting some thick water proof gloves for the winter. I wish there would've been some reviews about the sizing when i were purchasing them. Due to the thickness of the fingers they run smaller than I am use to. I usually wear a small, but i need a large in these. Just a heads up.
I got these gloves last year because a) I hate the cold and b) my hands are always cold. Well, these gloves did not disappoint. My job is to be outside in the cold as a veterinarian (I work on horses), so gloves that are warm and washable are key. These puppies were used & abused as well as washed about a million times and they stayed intact, stuffing & all (HUGE PROPS). Minor downside is that the nubbins on the palm side are wearing away. But I'm majorly excited to have these gloves for another season. Woop!
