"Great bag!" 12/20/11
Overall, a great bag. It packs down small, has a roomy footbox, consistant fill, a handy dandy little pocket on the inside, glow in the dark zipper pulls, great draft tubes, and cinches up nice and tight at the top. The only beef I have with this bag is that the zipper doesn't run the FULL length of the bag...more like 3/4, so it's a tiny bit awkward to poke your feet out of the side when it gets hot, and I found it to be a little roomy for me (I'm 5'10, 150) when the temperature really dropped...it took a little while to get it warmed up. Get you one, you won't regret it!
"Great bag for the price" 06/20/11
If you sleep hot, these are pretty comfortable even in warmer weather. You can also unzip them from the bottom and poke a foot out if you like. In cooler weather, its a dream. I also love that you can buy a left and right zip to put together. I find the shoulder area a little tight, but if I zip together with the other one I bought for my wife we both have plenty of room and stay nice and warm.
"Great for 3 Season weather here in the south" 03/22/11
This bag packs down to nearly a dime size, well almost, and weighs about the same. My girlfriend has one and we zip them together. She likes me close so you know I can't get away. But seriously this bag is one of the best bags at the price point. Buy it and you won't regret it.
"Great versatile bag" 04/23/10
I've used it to sleep in -0(Celcius)/Everest Base Camp. Because you can move the down from the bottom (useless to have "crushed down" under you anyway for warmth)to the top (continuous tube channels) you can maximize the amount of down on top to keep your body warm. When camping in hot weather... do the opposite. Packs really small and the light weight is great. Thanks for a great product.
"Warm and comfy" 08/01/09
I slept warm and toasty in this bag in 45 degree F weather in the summer in the Rockies and did not have any problem. Actually I had to unzip the bag some because I started to sweat which I guess makes sense since it is rated a 30 degree bag.
"comfortable and packs down small" 04/02/09
I have only used this bag on one trip and liked it a lot. It is very comfortable. It also has an inner pocket you can use to store things like your glasses, chapstick, etc, and it has two zippers on the side (one so you can zip it up from the bottom and stick your feet out if you are hot). I used it in about 40 degree weather and got a little warm, but the night I used it in 30 degree weather it was perfect.
"Comfortable Bag" 03/02/09
I've used this bag for a few months and have no complaints. It packs down to about the size of a rugby ball and doesn't weigh much. I would buy it again and recommend it to anybody looking to go out from April to October. The quality is good and it keeps me warm, I can't complain.
"So comfy! Great Deal!" 09/27/08
My girlfriend and I got a left and a right Never Winter bag so that we could zip them up together. We used them in Wy this past June. We tested it up to ~35 degree nights. This bag allowed us to get out of our smelly backpacking clothes at night during the warmer (45 degree nights) but my girlfriend who is notoriously cold had to add some layers when it got down to 35 degrees in the high altitude; I was fine the whole time and never needed to layer under the bag. It compresses down to slight lager than the size of a football and comes with a mesh storage bag for when you are not using it. Good deal, perfect for summer trips, early fall trips.
"Great buy for three season use" 06/15/08
My wife and I got two of these to zip together for backpacking, and they're great! They pack down small, feel durable, and keep us comfortable in 30-40 degree weather. Anybody looking for a good down bag to pair up should go with this. I would definitely get another marmot bag given the chance.
