This jacket is so lightweight and packs down to almost pocket size. It is bullet proof when it comes to being in the rain. One can layer 3-5 layers underneath and still be comfortable. The name says it all. The hood fits over helmets and hats without leaving your ears out to freeze. Works great with any fleece underneath it to fight the cold weather as well.

Much lighter than I expected but it held up to the test. Perfect outter shell when worn with a tshirt and sweater on the mountain. The hood fit snug over my beanie and was just the right size to keep the wind out snow out.
