These are very nice gloves and true to size. There is a very light fleece lining to give it comfort. Hoping the lining will be durable. The very light elastic wrist cuff holds nicely. The size chart was spot on.The leather is slightly softer (but not crazy soft that it would tear up). I would put some nikwax to make them truly water resistant and provide that extra level of comfort in wet conditions. These are relatively cheap and great to have in winter eg. when putting on the dreaded snow chains.

I know two professional mountain guides who swear by these simple, classic, cheap gloves that marmot has been making for at least 20 years. This is not just any leather, but some kind of obscure specialized stuff that is treated and tanned in such a way that it stays flexible even after repeated wet-drying-out cycles. They are warm, lined, dexterous... did I mention simple and cheap? I have many gloves but nothing beats the dexterity and grippiness of good old fashioned leather. Sometimes the old ways are the best ways.
These are the best pair of cheap leather work gloves that I have ever had! While they are not heavily insulated they are still lined with a thin, soft material that makes them real comfortable. I think that Marmot must have screwed up on the price because they are worth way more than 15. Thanks again Moosejaw, You Rock!
