Mammut Contact Slings are strong, durable and light. I've been using them for 4 years for a lot of trad rock and ice climbing (>300 pitches last year). During that time, I've only had to replace 3 out of 15 due to excess wear (I play it very safe with gear). They rack well and don't tangle. My only gripe is that I get a bit confused by the color scheme and sizing. I wish the industry would come up with a standard way to describe a sling. Is 120cm the total length of the material (i.e., if it weren't sewn end-to-end) or is it half the length of the material because it is sewn in a loop???
