"Huge, durable, bells and whistles to the max. So many activities!"
I haven't taken this on any adventures yet, due to it being freezing in Alaska. But I got this pack to fit my life into for when I start traveling for 5 years, this year. I've loaded it up with all my clothes and assorted things I'll take, no problem. The built in waterproof stuff sack is genius. I love the back pads and hip belts, they're thick and comfortable providing good cross breeze. It's extremely easy to adjust it to your size. I'm excited for its pioneering trip next month! It's a beaut. It is a little on the heavy side. But it's a given for 80L.
"INCREDIBLY durable, Super comfortable pack--won't disappoint!"
The other review of this pack seems to lack understanding of the definition of "durable". Ripping the sternum strap off a $400 pack means you should probably learn to take care of your gear, NOT blame somebody else. Eight days in the Alaskan backcountry with 70+ pounds of gear and this pack was a dream. The triple-density foam in the shoulder straps and back paneling puts this pack in a league of its own as far as comfort. The multiple zippers and double side access really came in handy when I needed to reach a piece of gear. Tried several brands before purchasing and could not have been happier with my decision to go with the MHM. Definitely looking forward to what MHM comes up with in the future!
I was adjusting the Sternum strap and one side came out of the glides. This video should show the issue and my fix. MHM was not helpful. I think the design of the sternum straps is poor. The fact that MHM had a fix to send to me shows that this must happen to other purchasers of this pack. I don't think this is a "Lifetime Warranty". "Lifetime Warranty" means you fix the problem. Not send out a goofy fix.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqcHThvdeaM
