I am always cold. Always. I wore my new Lole jacket today with a windchill of 7 and I was actually WARM! This is a first for me. The length is perfect and even kept my bum warm on my cold leather car seats. The jacket is SO stylish...I've gotten 3 compliments from total strangers on it already! I looked at the NorthFace & Patagonia jackets, but I didn't like the cuffs that they had....the cold air could get right up your sleeve! The Lole has these fabulous, thick knit cuffs that just stick out of the end of the sleeve. I got the gray coat with the yellow trim and LOVE it. I'm finally warm:-)
Love the cuffed sleeves, really keeps the heat in. The belt is a little too big when clasped and not long enough to stuff into your pockets when not in use. Nonetheless, love the contrasting belt and how the coat gives you a figure (as opposed to other puffy coats that look like you're wearing a down comforter). I was torn between the black and the grey, in hindsight I wish I would have gotten the grey.
"It's like being wrapped in a big down hug!"

I adore this coat. It hasn't been too cold here in Iowa yet, but I'm praying for some single digit temps and snow so I really give this the ol' college try! So far, in these annoyingly mild temperatures, it's been quite toasty. It fits great - and I'm only 5'2". I love the ribbed cuffs, cozy beyond requirement. I'm particularly excited about the length...finally my butt and thighs will be as warm as the rest of me! It's got a little kick pleat at the back so you don't hobble around like an idiot. I'm going to stay living in a cold area for the foreseeable future just so I can wear this coat as much as possible.

This jacket looks so nice. It is a very warm jacket. I would recommend this jacket to everyone. It is warm and so soft. It is also very stylish. Moosejaw has the best selection and the greatest deals.
I've been looking for a 'tall-n-small' jacket for years, something narrow enough to keep gusts out & with long enough arms to cover my wrists. After trying on literally every down coat in Chicago (Moosejaw, North Face, Marmot, Patagonia...), this is the only style that even came close. Finally!I've got a 6' wing span and the cuffs on the Small come down to my hands (glory), plus the torso is perfect over a sweater. The belt's long, but I hadn't planned on wearing it and the collar is perfect, up to the chin but not to restricting. ...just wish these cuffs had the same thumb holes as their shorter style....So glad I finally invested in (and found) a perfect fit!
In NYC, I need a super warm coat for walking. The jacket is very warm, I love the hood, which actually stays up! I got the blk color, and I wish they used a darker color lining, the ivory is sort of sheer and looks a little cheap. The toggle at the back hem hits your legs whencoulda all - could annoy some people. The belt is too big and I'll have to take about 4". The belt on the black color is elastic, grey with yellow inside. I've been wearing it without the belt and it looks ok too, it will look better once I get the belt shortened. I normally buy S, but got M and I'm glad I did, don't think the small would have fit through the hips.
