Got my girlfriend a pair of these to come climb with me so she doesnt need to use the rentals at the gym anymore. she loves them. no blisters and no slipping.
I do a lot of gym climbing because I live where there aren't a ton of rocks around but I've been wearing these for about a year and I love them but its definitely time for a new pair because they are super polished out and the bottom of one of them somehow got a little chunk scraped out of it. I really recommend them for first time climbers though
You can't really grow with this shoe. I bought it as a beginner and outgrew it within two months. It doesn't edge very well and the rubber is not sticky at all. It would be passable for gym climbing (where you're using defined footholds) but on outdoor rock where you're smearing on tiny edges or rock faces it really sucks. I replaced this with the La Sportiva Mythos for multi-pitch alpine climbing and 5.10's Anasazi LV for sport climbing and I like both of them MUCH better. The Mythos is also a good shoe for beginners that I wish I bought in the first place!
This was my first climbing shoe I ever bought. Keep in mind that is is leather so it will stretch, definitely want a tight fit to start. I got a size and a half smaller than my street shoe, and I have been climbing in them for six months now, still great!
These were my first pair of climbing shoes and they were awesome! I bought them about a half size too large, so sometimes they were a little frustrating, but for an inexperienced climber they were easy to use and the lace ups make them comfortable for any type of foot!
I've recently got into rock climbing and have been wearing a pair of hand me down climbing shoes for awhile now. I took a step forward and purchased these bad lads and love them. They are so much more comfortable than my other ones and the sizing is true. The rubber sticks to the tiniest features. Buy them... they rock (no pun intended!)
these are my first shoes and i love them, they fit great and are super comfy. it took a while to get used to the high heel, but once i got them broke in i loved them. i also like that they tongue is padded so when you tie them tight they dont kill you feet. the shoe strings are way long which is starting to annoy me, but over all i love them
I bought these shoes in October, and they've been great ever since. The sideways loop at the back makes putting them on easier, although the laces are somewhat annoying. They're just padded enough, and pretty much perfect for what I've used them for- haven't gotten outside yet, so in the gym, several times a week.
I bought these for my lil sis. It took her a month to find an excuse to make it to the gym, but she loved them once she got them on. They edge like a pair of sportiva's should and she liked them on the smear. Not too over aggressive and comfortable for long climbs. I ordered her street shoe size and they were perfect. She wasn't too thrilled about having to lace her shoes each time, though, having come from some velcros.
I bought this shoes to my girlfriend as an anniversary present...And I was scarred about the fact that they werent going to fit her..I was wrong, SHE TOTALLY LOVE THEM...The shoes are beautiful, comfortable and has a great grip on any kind of rock (believe me we have tried a lot of them)...I recommend to buy one size less than you normally use, women case.

I originally bought this shoe as a first time gym climber. I spent all summer climbing in CO outside and it performed extremely well. I have narrow feet but the lasing allows for the fine adjustments needed after a day of being in heels for my job that feeds my climbing obsession.
