I've heard a few backpackers who are down on the Coyote (for being too heavy, mainly), but I have no complaints. Very durable and well designed, with a million pockets, which makes it easy to organize your gear, and it can carry a ton of gear. (I do a lot of mixed fishing/backpack trips, so I have to take a monstrous bunch of stuff, including waders, rods, fishing gear, etc., and the Coyote holds it all with ease.) I have trouble finding packs that fit me well, but with some adjustment to the sliding lumbar support, I was in good shape. Very easy to access the contents through the bag without hassling with unlatching the lid. Lots of nice little touches, like the camera pocket and ability to insert a hydration system into the lid. This was my first piece of Kelty gear and I will definitely take a look at their stuff the next time I need something. This pack isn't for you if you do short weekend jaunts, but it's my go-to pack for serious, multi-day hikes.
