The Kahtoola Steel KTS Crampons are made of chromoly steel and boast points that are 1/4 inch longer than their aluminum model, meaning they'll take you through the most rugged of conditions. Rocky terrain and choppy ice won't be a problem with this tough alloy Steel on your side. Still an ultralight crampon, the Kahtoola steel model weighs-in at a mere 23.3 ounces for the pair and folds down into a compact package to save pack space when they're not in use on the trail.
