The Jetboil FluxRing Fry Pan is a long-time standard for outdoor cooking and now updated and improved through the use of Jetboil's FluxRing technology, which provides incredibly even heating. The plastic base cover doubles as a food preparation / eating bowl. The FluxRing fry pan requires a pot support kit for use with PCS/GCS burner, and is NOT compatible with Helios. Sorry for yelling about it.

"It's a pan, with a plate..." 05/11/13

Pretty nice pan from jetboil, it fits right under my helios. Haven't tried it yet, because I am a horder and just like to collect things. Everything on it is nice, except the handles sometimes awkward to hold, but it gets the job done without taking any extra room.Can't wait to make eggs and pancakes out in the woods.

"Didnt own, only used once." 04/25/13

My friend has this pan, used it once and immediately decided on not buying. It is not a non-stick, nor does it claim to be. But for the price, it should be. More of a novelty. If you're in to the brand of it, go for it. But im not getting it, thats for sure.

"Very pricey and no lid!" 11/30/10

Does the job and heats fairly evenly. Biggest two complaint are that the handle can't be locked into the extended position and that there is no lid. The edges are fairly rough and a cheap lid would have addressed this as well as provided storage capability for cooking utensils, seasonings, etc. Had this been in the sub $30 range, I'd feel it would have been a much better value!

"Lightweight and easy to clean" 05/21/10

This is a great little lightweight skillet for backpacking. The aluminum is very light and allows instant transfer of heat to your food. I don't know how the little fins around the bottom work but my food cooked very evenly even without a thick skillet to spread the heat. I'm not used to gas cooking which heats up way faster than electric or a wood fire and so I did scorch my steak pretty bad. However, turning down the flame instantly lowered the heat on the food and the rest of the cooking went well. The skillet wiped clean very easily though there is a little discoloration at the spot where I charred the steak. A lid would be nice. I attached the two sides of the handle with a rubber band.

"great pan" 07/16/08

fantastic pan. great for cooking a nice big meal in over my msr stove. nothing sticks to the pan... just eat and put away.

"poor quality coating on fry pan" 04/16/08

I love my jet boil just not this cheap pan. Everything sticks when you use it. To bad they didn't make it to the same quality as the personal cooking system. I use this all the time and would recommend it to family and friends.

"Good frying pan with a few drawbacks" 02/24/08

I have mixed feelings about this pan. Overall, it heats well and evenly. The handles are stable & I really like its folding feature. There is an orange plastic bottom that covers the FluxRing. where can store a Jetboil retractable spatula. My biggest complaint is the lack of a protective lid. The Jetboil Cooking Pot has one. If not packed properly, the pan edges will scratch other unprotected items. I now wrap a dishtowel around it when I pack it for camping. Although it is not a nonstick pan, clean up is easy because of the hard-anodized aluminum. I would recommend getting the Jetboil Pot Support and Stabilizer Kit if you will be using it with this product.

"Good construction, a bit heavy" 09/24/07

The pan is nice and works well. I like the design and cooking in is easy. The pan is not stated to be non stick so I do not understand how Steve says it sucks. The pan is a bit heavy but is very doable.

"seen better" 07/10/07

nonstick surface didn't work great! i do like the other jet boil products, so i returned the pan, and will give the new one another try.
