"nice coat, poor fit" 12/11/12

I bought an Icebreaker Mayfair coat several years ago in large, and it has always been too big and I wanted to replace it with a medium. The coat has been restyled since I bought the one I have in large, and the current model just doesn't fit right. The fit through the bust is off--it is as if that part of the coat is a size larger than the rest of it and the bustline darts are oddly placed. The fit through the waist and hips is fine. Other reviewers have made similar comments--I hope Icebreaker is listening! I'm returning the coat.

"Yes, I would recommend this to a friend" 04/06/11

This is a great jacket, very light, thin and very warm. But, I am petite size 6 and fits my shoulders, but it is pretty roomy in the torso--I am 5'3" and 120lbs. It fits me great in all other ways the length is perfect for a small but again if only I have a bigger bust, it would have been perfect. If I down size then the length will be shorter on the sleeve.

"it's icebreaker so it's obviously awesome!!" 02/25/11

A nice coat to wear around the city. This coat is awesome! Evidence: wore a sleeveless dress and this coat comfortably in a snow storm. It's not über feminine but it is obviously a female coat. I'm 5'3 105lbs (built like an xc runner) and normally wear a size small in icebreaker but i had to exchange the small coat for an extra small coat. The extra small fits me perfectly-- reason for the down size was because the waste was not tapered enough in the small. Length is mid thigh and the arms are long which is nice for a coat :)
