I like this sock much better than Smartwool. It is softer and more breathable. Also, the fit is much better. The sock does not fall down around the ankles and it is not too tight like some of the Smartwool socks. I love this sock!

I ordered size M, and I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2 in tennis shoes. The sock is very tight around the leg, and it left significant marks. On the other hand, it is loose and baggy around the foot, so it bunched up and wasn't comfortable in my shoe. It is warm, but the fit is strange.
Namo Amitabha. My wife wore this 4 days straight without smell on her feet. She felt warm and comfortable. Cannot believe it is wool because of the smooth silk touch. Kind of magical. Dry quick. You have to try it. It cant go wrong. Look at those postive feedback.
I think these are even better than the "other brand" of premuim wool socks. The knit is tight, color fantastic and the fit is wonderful. Its worth the gamble to get one pair. I think you'll switch brands.
I really love Icebreaker products for their fantastic ability to neutralize body odour, the value of which can be enormous when travelling or hiking for longer periods. My only issue with these socks is that they don't agree with my skin as well with the medium and extra heavy versions (which I love). I have become sensitive to sweat blisters, and the blend of this particular sock always seems to bring them out. If you have my kind of sensitive skin, the Icebreaker mid crew sock might be a better recommendation - I find they are great in all weather (not just the cold) and they are only slightly thicker.
These are great socks, i got the size small for my 6.5 size feet, they fit great, are snug but not tight and are supportive. They wick well and help my feet not be stinky :)
I love these socks, I got the medium cusion and I wore them with the LaSportiva hike boot with the steel shank, I was fishing from shore on the St Clair river on the wet rocks in 40 degrees weather and 45 mi winds, face was cold my feet were cozy.
