I have this dress in black and metro and wore them almost exclusively on a recent trip to Mexico. It went from a swim suit coverup, dinner and dancing and for boating trips with Icebreaker leggings under for warmth. With a light cardigan over the top it looks demure!I'd really like to get it in this season's turquoise too.

I'm a huge fan of dresses while backpacking (shorts and pants are just so constricting!) and this one survived being my main attire on a 2 week+ trip thru the Sierra Nevadas w/one rinse every other day. It worked perfectly. Kept me warm and cool when I needed it. Dried uber fast. My dress always dried faster than any of the guys' clothes. And I was breezy and cute! The only drawback is that the material needs special care while sitting on bark/stone (can tear!), so I always made sure to put my handkerchief down before I sat.
Might want to size down on this one! It fits much looser than the picture shows. Its nice, because you can layer with a tank top underneath, or use it as a coverup at the beach. But I kind of wish I had gotten a size smaller! Other than that, its a fantastic dress! And you can't beat merino wool!
