"Cozy and Functional" 11/27/12
Great long underwear. I took these along for a backpacking trip through parts of Europe...never smelled, always managed my body heat well. Being able to go from -5C to room temperature in a museum and always be comfortable was baller.
"like these so much, my poly-pro long undies got sent to Goodwill...." 12/29/11
and I'm getting a second pair. I'm a complete merino wool convert...fits great, warm, and I'd say looks great but I'd have to send in a pic to make you believe anyone could be this happy with long underwear.
"Great for the winter months (but nothing that Under Armour can't do)..." 01/18/11
Originally, I bought these for my boyfriend who is a distributor and is constantly delivering things (whether or not it's just a bit nippy or it's a blizzard). He originally loved the initial comfort and fit...but the breathability fell a bit short. He complained that they would be fine if he stood outside all the time but it's not the case when he actually has to go inside his for his accounts. After feeling the material and some serious debate, we decided to return them. Down in south west Minnesota and lower east South Dakota, off-brands and under armour works pretty decently. However, if I went any more north (like Duluth), I would get these in a heartbeat.
"good fit and comfortable" 12/25/10
I had a icebreaker 260 before so I bought this without hesitation. I am 6ft, 180lb and size M fits me really well. Same as other icebreakers it is not itchy at all.It is not as warm/wind proof as the north face mid weight i owned. I think you need 200 or 260 for winter use.
"I haven't taken them off since I bought them! I should probably bathe..." 12/20/10
These are the most comfortable wool underoos I've ever rocked. They cradle my dudeparts like a well made dudepart cradle and they never stink (because when your dudepart cradle stinks, well that's just terrible).Merino wool rocks and so does Icebreaker. I will definitely be getting more in the future.
"Wore these through the Maine winter" 10/27/10
I wore these everyday when I was a rampy at an airport in Maine during the winter. My legs were never cold, even if the rain/sleet/snow soaked through my pants. Wool is amazing stuff, and this stuff is no exception. Its so soft, even after ive accidently put it through the dryer a few times. Recently went up Mt. Washington in Oct and they were the perfect base layer for the crappy weather.
"You should probably buy these" 04/18/09
Best piece of clothing i own. I work outside on the ramp at an airport in Maine. In the winter. In Maine. No complaints at all. These alone keep me warm and the merino never itches. It also helps keep my socks up under my boots. Works great for early spring baseball games, too (in the stands of course).
"Best leggings I own" 05/10/08
Kansas means People of the South Wind and these leggings provide excellent from winds in all directions. They are comfortable whether I'm wearing bike shorts unter or over them. No annoying irritation from wrinkles.
"The gusseted crotch is irresistible" 01/11/08
My husband got these for Christmas. He rode his bike to work 8 miles in the snow, up hill both ways. He says he would have curled up and cried on the side of the lake front trail, without these pants to keep his giblets warm and sweat free the wicking effect of wool you know.
"You need to ge them!" 01/11/08
This leggings are great! I did some serious mountaineering in Colombia, South America. 7 days, from 4200 mts over the sea level to 4800 mts. I had all kind of weather from rain and hail to clear blue sky. I wear this leggings all the time, i walked and slept with them and they worked perfectly, I mean they warm your legs to the perfect temperature and stop there!!
