"Perfect Climbing Pack" 04/08/12

The size small woman's pack fits me perfectly at 5'1" and 112#. Very comfortable and fits high up on my back so that it isn't dragging below my lower back. It very EASILY opens up wide enough for me to drop my rope and rope back down into the bottom and it pulls out easy enough as well. I also have plenty of room for draws, extra clothing, water, etc. Even with all of the gear it still tightens down compactly. I think a trad climber could probably have room for a rack.

"I cannot say good enough about this pack." 04/03/12

I bought this pack for 2 month trip in Thailand, have traveled with it since then and take it into the backcountry. Possibly the most convenient thing about it is the side zipper that opens into the main compartment, allowing access to the bottom and side without coming through the top. The belt pockets are perfect for a camera or snack. The top flap's pocket and the outer compartments are really handy too. It's a trusty and convenient pack that I've come to think of as an old friend.

"Great pack for small folks but could use some minor improvements" 01/16/12

This is a great back. I am an extra small and it fits well though it is not extremely tight with the hip belt. I am very small and skinny though. The pockets on the hip belt are terrific and it vents well against my back. There are two things that I wish they would improve upon: 1) I wish it had straps like Osprey packs for trekking poles and 2) There are a lot of tie downs and cinch straps. It is a bit much. It would be better if they could eliminate some of them. I may actually cut some of them off for simplicities sake.All and all, great pack for petite female.

"limited adjust ability compared to other packs, ensure it fits!" 01/08/12

I have a small frame and it can be difficult to find packs that fit that fit my small waist while still hugging my shoulders. since the torso straps are fixed in place, there was less fine tuning adjustment that could be done as compared to other bags, though they tend to be more expensive. There is less padding on the pack which makes it a light weight bag but also be mindful that it can limit the amount of weight you can carry. I found that my lower back was bruised as a result of the shape of the padding in the low back that then gives way to the vented back. Overall the design of the storage components was great, I like how lightweight the bag was but it wasn't the one for me.

"Great fitting pack for small gal" 12/04/11

This is a great fitting pack. It is very hard to find a good xs pack. The only drawback is the amount of buckles and the hood is a little bit odd. Also, a nalogene bottle fits but barely. It would be good to have slightly bigger pockets. All in all though, great pack.

"Great pack for a few days, or traveling international. Low back support great" 06/07/11

So i got this last summer and i have gone on two longer trips, and for me long is 4 days. It has great hip pockets, and a pocket on the top cover flap, great for stuff you want to access easily like sun flower seeds, sunscreen,and head lamp. Also it has a great pad that fits in the low back area, and hip pads are comfortable and can pull the back snugly to the lumbar curve, with out pinching the hips. i do not have a rain cover yet, but i covered it in august when it was 90000 degrees out, with my rain jacket, and everything was extra dry, no trouble. I have a M and i am 5'9" and not long legged or anything, pretty even, no extra long torso either.

"So functional and comfortable!" 05/10/11

This backpack is amazing! This was not the backpack I originally wanted, but once I put it on there was no way I could deny that it was perfect. The lumbar pads and hip pads are amazing for women with pretty arched backs, and the adjustable waist belt make this backpack reasonable for women with slender hips and long backs! The zippers and pockets are all placed in perfect spots! It is so easy to access anything in the pack and the water bottle holders fit a Nalgene perfectly! This is a flawless backpack!

"Couldn't travel without it" 09/30/10

This pack is incredible, it holds everything you need plus those things you forgot so you slipped them in last minute. Comfortable (for those ladies like me with a short torso) and of course stylish. Makes you feel hard core and experienced and ready for anything. Not too strappy. Love the side panel access zipper and the external pockets. Easy to sleepy in an airport with this thing on your back, just ask the 4am crew at Heathrow, I was out like a light.

"New updates to this pack are perfect!!" 07/26/10

I owned the previous version of this pack, and gave it away. Decided to try again when they updated it, and I have to say I'm quite surprised and pleased! Fits well, and love the adjustable hipbelt. Hipbelt pockets could be a bit bigger- only the smallest of digi cameras will fit.

"Best Pack I've Ever Used" 07/22/10

I got this pack not knowing it was a girl's because I got it in a store, but I can tell you that Gregory packs are legit. I used this pack on the AT and it worked amazingly. One of the best features is the Kangaroo pouch in the front that you can slide stuff in and out. I highly recommend this if you are a light backpacker!!!
