"Love, love, love, love, love these boots!!!"
Among all of my winter hiking gear, these boots are number one on the list. Comfortable beyond words, warm beyond my hopes. I have tried several other winter boots for hiking and snowshoeing, among those the Merrell Norsunds and North Face winter boots, as well as various pac boots. I hated feeling like I was wearing moon boots but I felt like that was the only way I was going to have warm feet. I figured you had to sacrifice weight and bulk for warmth. I was totally wrong. These boots are super light, super comfortable and fit just like my summer hiking boots. They don't feel "clunky" and you can still feel the ground under your feet. I recently took them on a 6 mile hike in snow with temps around 4F and I was completely warm. The following day I took them out ice fishing, basically just standing around on the ice for 5 hours in 6F weather and my toes never got cold. These boots are unbelievable. One note, get one size bigger than normal.
Very comfortable boot. Fits like a shoe almost. Agressive tread grips on the snow well. Used them in Michigan winters but only when I was active. Kept my feet warm and comfortable. Didnt experience any undo moisture. Typically boots that are fairly high bother me but these provide support without being overly stiff and allow for full range of ankle motion. Definitely waterproof as well.
