"great hiking sandal, excellent traction" 06/01/13
This is a great hiking sandal with excellent tracktion. i love wearing the sandals on bike rides to keep my feet cool. they also provide excellent traction when i get off my bike and go on hikes.
"Comfortable, Sturdy, Plain Awesome" 04/10/13
Purchased my second pair! Chacos last a very long time and give you a very consistent experience. They take a good hike to break in and become very addicting. Sizing is consistent, don't order big! Having them fit well is important for your comfort. They are on the heavy side, but it is needed to provide a sturdy base for aggressive hikes.
"Sturdy, secure, heavy." 10/05/11
These sandals offer unmatched longevity, traction and quality. Minimalist design with single synch means there are few fail-points, and are quick to get on and off. I know some people that have gone though several "re-lacings" and the things still had traction on them. Can't beat Vibram. Super comfortable as well. When packing them up I with they are lighter/less bulky, but it seems to be worth it.
"All around sandal." 09/06/11
Has the grip to perform in all kinds of conditions. Climbing, hiking, at work, anywhere. Comfortable, and worth every penny. Last a long time. Look a little nerdy, but the comfort level is well worth it. Sole gives you plenty of use out of this sandal. You'll be wearing them everywhere.
"incredible" 07/16/11
i bought these on sale for like $50 and was a little skeptical at first. i wore them very very lightly for about a year and decided i needed to start getting my money's worth out of them. i did a week long wandering trip in europe and only packed these. once my feet got accustomed to the chacos, they became best friends and have been inseparable ever since. these are incredible, and can be worn any time...when its cold, you loosen the straps and make room for wool socks. they dry quickly, come off easy for when its time to go barefoot.....perfect in every way, i'd pay $100 for 'em
"Vibram enough said" 06/17/11
Vibram soles on sandals equal awesome. Your feet stay put in the sandal and don't slide around, they are stiff enough to hike in and don't have that stupid toe hole to cause any blisters. Plus all black sandals look B.A.
"Best Sandal there is" 05/14/11
I didn't hear about these shoes until I went away to college, where just about every person had a pair for these. They are the most comfortable shoe, & they had a certified foot doctor design them. They are great for a hike or day to day occasions.
