This Canada Goose Parka is my all time best purchase! The workmanship is superb. I love all the roomy pockets inside and out and the backstraps for easy carry while inside. Now the sizing....I tried the Montebello first but the Large was too small....I'm 5'6" about 138 lbs and usually wear med. The Montebello was way too tight in arms and upper body. The Large in the Expedition was HUGE, the medium was perfect with room for a vest. I don't think layering is needed with this parka tho, extremely warm. The hood with the ruff is beautiful too, protects well from strong winds. I live in Michigan and this parka is great in the sub zero temps we have been having lately. I got this late in the season but will not freeze next year.
I don't plan on doing any expeditions in Antarctica, but it gets cold enough here in Montana that I will be able to test out its weather claims :-).Lots of great access pockets, stylish yet very functional. this is my second Canada Goose jacket, I have the Mystique and it's awesome.
We just moved to Michigan and are bracing for another cruel winter. Also getting a puppy who loves the cold and needs lots of outdoor time. This coat will keep me warm and toasty for an entire day outside. Arrived quickly, fits well. I'm 5'4, 133 lbs, size small is perfect, leaves room for layers. If I wore a bulky sweater underneath I might melt, the coat is so toasty. Lots of pockets, lots of ways to cinch it inside and block drafts from below. Hood is perfect. Fantastic coat.
I finally got my parka for a trip to the arctic in Alaska next winter! I am 5'5 and weigh 150 - I purchased an extra large and found it fits very nicely. I did not find it too big and I like that is covers my butt - it probably hits mid-thigh. There are many pockets, inside and out. There is a "seat belt" type contraption at the waist and you can Velcro it to close it. It keeps all the air from blowing up into your coat on a windy day. The hood is great - you can bend the wire of the coyote fur trim to narrow your hood as much as you like on a windy, snowy day. The zipper is a bit difficult, but what I like is that at the very top of the zipper there is a nice fur piece that prevents the collar from scratching up your face like most coats do when you zip them all the way up. I can't wait to test out my parka it this winter when snowshoeing at Mt. Bachelor. : )
This palerka is very warm and style,my girlfriend(now my wife)is very love it.She took half a day in front of the mirror with this parka.but the size is little larger,if you want by canada goose jacket notic the fit:relaxed, regular or slim.

This jacket is very warm totally worth the money you pay for it. Here in NYC we just had the Arctic wave that has been a bitch and a half and with this coat I was able to walk around with just a shirt. Only problems with it is that you can feel your butt is freezing because it is rather short, its big on you despite the size being your usual one, in the arms you can feel the cold a bit, and the style is not feminine at all it looks exactly the same as the guy one (they could have added some curves to it...jeez) so that is my take but I will highly recommend it for people who HATE winters, as myself, I was born to live on an island...
