The Canada Goose Men's Hybridge Lite Hoody is an ultralight insulating layer that'll keep you warm in the coldest climates. Its warmth comes from 800-fill goose down.. or "it has 800 goosepower under the hood" as I like to say. This is a great midlayer jacket to wear under a shell in harsh, blustery climates, as it traps warm air and slides effortlessly between layers. The hood edge and cuff bindings are stretch Lycra with thumb holes on the cuffs for comfort and coverage. You'll also finding yourself wearing the Hybridge Lite Hoody on its own for calm, cool days or chilly nights around the campfire.

I have been hesitant of buying this $550 down jacket as I was a little suspicious about the the ability whether lightweight down jacket can endure the cold weather in Indiana. It turned out to be a redundant thought as i was literally wearing this jacket for the whole winter/spring. As lightweight as this jacket is, the warmth when you are wearing it is absolutely solid. For the whole winter, I basically just wear one piece inside and rarely did I feel the cold. This winter in Indiana was extremely cold, and there were only several days when I truly needed a sweater inside this jacket (Negative 30 or something cold). And that gives you a clear perspective how warm this lightweight jacket is. Besides the performance, the design is really hip with a fit to size waist line design. I absolutely love it and I highly recommend buying this one.
"Great looking, well made, and worth the money!"
I ordered 8 down hoodies with equal or similar specs, i.e. fill power, water resistance exterior, pockets, adjustable hood and waits, etc. After trying on all of them, I concluded that the Canada Goose Hybridge Lite hoody was the best fit to spec jacket. Initially, I thought the $550.00+ price tag was way too much for a down jacket and I almost settled on a less expensive jacket (Rab), but decided to take a chance and see how the CG performed. After two ski trips in single digit temps, this jacket has proven to be a great insulator and very comfortable apres ski jacket. It is very lightweight, formfitting, and the side stretch panels allow for ease of movement and some ventilation. It's got pockets in the correct locations for your hands and your gear, so your stuff doesn't get in the way of movement. So far the quality of construction is great. I get lots of compliments on it and am happy to have spent the extra money on this piece. Definitely worth the money.
It seems thin and flimsy at first, but I was shocked at how warm it was when I tried it on. Material is pretty durable too. Lots of great features like Napolean pockets, hand pockets, zippers on all pockets, thumb-hooks on the sleeves.Breathability is great. I never sweat in this thing.Dexterity is great too. Probably the most dexterous of all the UL down jackets I tried. The jacket itself is pretty warm. A lot warmer than it looks. Works excellent as a mid insulating layer. I wear this + merino wool baselayer + westcomb shift LT hoodie as a shell, and I can walk around outside at 25F - 30F with 10mph wind pretty comfortably. And if you are debating between hood/no-hood - get the hood. It's extremely warm, and designed in a very smart way so you can have it on and adjusted in a matter of seconds. If you're wearing it without any other layers I'd say you'd be ok in 40F+ weather.I did not buy this jacket for looks, but it happens to be a great looking jacke
I travel a lot for business. When I have to fly to extremly cold regions i.e. In northern Europe I wear this jacket on the plane and have a thick canada goose parka in my suitcase ready for when I have to start my actual work. The jacket is light and warm enough for most conditions. It is also easily packable and compresses to nano dimensions
