This is a great sock. The packaging says that it's about in the middle of Bridgedale warmth scale, but they will keep your feet nice and warm. They are really comfortable as well, either on their own or with a base layer. So comfortable I find myself wearing them as often as I can.
i got my first pair specialty for the winter an i love them. is like wearing regular Sock under your boot. i work meanly on the out side in the hard cool in the Chicago areas and this pear of Sock it can be all u need !!

I have 5 pairs of these that I use to get me through my walk to public transportation during the most frigid portions of Chicago winters and wouldn't replace them with anything. Do your toes a favor and try out a pair.
