I can't say enough good things about these poles. The flip locks work well, unlike some other poles I have seen. My pair has taken tons of abuse and still going strong. I like the trip with or without gloves and I love the extended grip. Not the lightest poles around but I values sturdiness over low weight for this type of equipment.
I love these poles. I've owned 2 pairs and they are very solid. I've subjected them to a lot of abuse during winter climbs and they showed no sign of issues. I also really like the double length handle grip as it allows you to adjust for ascending/descending and different slopes on the fly without having to stop to change the pole length.
Used these poles for 2 weeks in the Cascades with 65lb pack, both as trekking poles and self-belay in low angle snow. Were very sturdy and was confident in their strength. Length is clearly written along shaft making it quick and easy to adjust to your desired settings. 3 part pole makes for long range of adjustments, and compacts very short for easy storage. As with many poles, the grips were not very comfortable without a liner/shell glove to prevent blistering. I will continue to use these poles
