"Also comes in a package with a belay device locking carabiner and chalk bag! Beginner must buy!" 04/08/13
I bought this harness two years ago when I started climbing. There is practically no wear and absolutely none that would compromise the integrity! Comfortable material that gives good padding and support to your legs and back and durable stuff too. I love the speed loops! Quick and easy to adjust to various leg and waist sizes with all types of clothing! My waist is 28-30 had to buy the S-M harness and it fits great. My favorite thing about the harness is the speed loops; impossible to not be doubled back which is great for beginners!
"Cheap and adjustable" 03/31/13
Excellent choice for mountaineering as it allows you to adjust the waist and legs over clothing. Even if your weight fluctuates this harness can be adjusted to hold you in. This was my first time using the two waist buckles so a little fiddly. Probably better to leave one side set and only adjust that side only when required. It is comfortable enough (no different from any other harness) and materials feel durable. Good value harness that can do everything.
"Very versatile harness" 02/02/13
The best part of this harness is the huge range of sizes that this harness fits. My dad can fit in the same size harness that I do so it is great if I need to borrow a harness for a friend. Also you are able to center the belay loop with the two buckles which is great.
"Quick and easy" 12/15/12
I got this harness a few years back, i had just started climbing so i wasn't sure exactly what i was looking for. I ended up loving the harness, it's great for beginners because of the speed adjustments so they don't have to fiddle with setting up their harness. However because of the speed adjustment you have trouble getting the perfect fit. Harness held up great to a large number of falls indoors and larger ones in WV. Overall the harness fits nice and gets the job done for a beginner, also has a good price point.
"Good amount of padding vs. weight, Super adjustable" 07/27/12
This thing is built solid. I've been using it for a year and besides some dirt and chalk, it doesn't show any wear. I love how adjustable the belt is... It works great for all the skinny ladies I take up to the crag, but it will still fit when I get fat too. Harnesses can always use more padding, but it's pretty comfortable without going overboard on weight. The gear loops are legit too - easy to clip and plenty of space for all the gear. The only real bummer is that it doesn't have a haul loop, but oh well...
"Great Beginner Harness" 04/30/11
Very light and comfortable harness. This is my first harness, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but didn't want to be the cheapest either. Legs straps are comfortable and the two adjustable waist point make it very easy to customize your personal comfort feel. Would definately recommend it to first time climbers.
"Great harness" 04/30/11
Very light and comfortable. Leg straps easily adjust and the main harness has 2 adjustable points. This makes it easier to fit your own personal comfort level. Great for first time climbers who don't want to buy and expense harness but don't want the complete begginer product either.
"Awesome harness, lots of nice features." 04/15/11
This was my first harness and I still use it from time to time (I've had it for about two years). The construction is very solid and for the most part quite comfortable. The double buckle system is useful and compare to most other brands the XL size fits well (I'm 6ft,220lbs). Can't complain about the price so I'm very satisfied with the purchase.
"Very nice harness" 02/28/11
I have been climbing with this harness for a few months and I have been very pleased with it from the day I got it. It is comfortable, fits well and so far its been very durable. I have taken several hard falls and I have no doubt that the harness will take as many more as I can throw at it.I would most certainly recommend this harness to a friend and have in fact gotten two of my buddies to buy the same harness and they love it too.
"Pretty much Legit" 11/29/10
i bought this bc my old Momentum was getting to small for me, it turned out to be a great harness. The orange belay ring is pretty sweet, it's easy to use. The leg strap bands are really useful, bc of the way that the end are sown backwards, and the leg straps are also easily adjustable and comfortable. The two straps on either side of the belay loop make it easy to have my harness centered and not off-set on my hips. I wish that there was a chalk bag loop in the back, but i stopped crying after about a month...It's a great harness
"Great Sport Harness" 11/02/10
I like the adjustable leg loops for winter climbing, but for your money you might be better off with something on the phoenix level- this harness is marginally more comfortable but 30$ more expensive (if you know where to shop). Also, typical BD- you have to invent a chalk bag hanger.
