"simple, comfy" 11/25/10

Nice simple leash, the band around my wrist is nice and wide and slightly padded so it feels supportive and comfy when pulling down on the axe in more technical climbs. Big top loop is handy for quickly yanking off even with big mittens on.

"Required Equipment" 11/05/09

Awesome addition to your Axe in the event it will slip out of your hand. Did Ranier in 2008 and got to see the look of horror as one of my members watched his axe slide 100s of feet down the mountain. Dont pass up this item.

"A good product - if it fits your needs" 10/13/09

This leash is good but is a little short and is designed more for technical ice climbing - rather than the mixed climbing that I used it for. I found that I prefered to clip this to my climbing harness over using the built in (read non-removable) hand strap.

This leash is is super easy to use and is highly adjustable. My wife and I both use it and it works great. It is really easy to loosen up after it tightens with gear in both hands.

"I love this leash" 12/06/05

This is a no frills leash. I have used it ice-climbing and on steep alpine climbs. It is easy to adjust. It is also easy to release with your other tool or hand by using the large webbing loop. I recommend this leash for all applications where you know you are not going to want to go leashless.
