I have used Black Diamond's Chalk before but didn't have a refillable chalk shot. Got this one and was super happy by it. I have large hands and this one fits in my hand great. I have also found that Black Diamond's white gold is my fav chalk.

"Its ok" 09/29/12

I bought this chalk ball a few months ago and have been satisfied but not impressed with it. It seems like it has been losing chalk more than other chalk balls that I have had in the past. its not that big of a deal because its only a few bucks but its just something to note. other than that I really like having a chalk ball in my chalk bag. I like in and grabbing it instead of fiddling with chalk.

"Fits better than a glove!" 12/08/11

Chalk will dramatically improve your grip game, especially for longer or more technical climbs. I always use at least a chalk shot, sometimes a chalk shot and loose chalk combo. This is a great option for chalking up holds, your hands or both. Make your mark on the wall.

This chalk just doesn't seem to hold chalk. I have to refill it every time I climb, and it'll be great for about 2 hours, then it loses it's chalk and turns into a floppy thin sock.

I got myself a non refillable baggie, and my brother got a refillable about 2 months ago and i'm still using mine while my brother's ripped and ran out a few weeks ago. The chalk itself is great.

"It Leaks" 08/16/11

Maybe I just used it too much, but in one day it went from being as full as an orange, down to being a flimpsy empty sock. Maybe a bigger size would be better.
