"Great for backcountry"
08/02/12
Amp perfect ride on the soft and hard snow. For this width is very lightweight, so perfect for ski-tour and backcountry. I really liked the simple colorful and bright graphics.

"Weight Savings are due to Extremely thin bases,"
12/30/11
Amazing ski for such a variety of conditions, it absolutely rips. It will never be the one ski quiver due to incredibly thin bases. 20 days it took to ruin the bases, BD quoted, "The skis are to spec, we have no more in stock, we will not warranty them." The base depth is not quoted on their website, but my estimate is 2-3mm. I owned older BD touring skis, and can attest to the new manufacturing in China being of a completely different quality and standard. Lasting scratches can be carved out with a fingernail. Shocked, disappointed, frustrated, and without funds, I would never recommend this ski to you.
