"some tasy vegetarian food in the woods" 09/13/11

we added some mushroom nuggets but this meal was awesome! even came with real peanut butter packets and actually had some spice. really liked being able to just cook it in the bag too.

"Great Vegetarian Option" 09/08/11

What first sold me was that this food package was vegetarian. Being a vegetarian out in the wild is a bit challenging. It's nice to have good meat-free food on hand - that actually tastes good. It is a tad spicy, but that's how I like it! I do wish there were more vegetables included though. I feel it would make the meal heartier. It is still filling though!

"Tasty, but meh" 08/18/11

it is spicy, but it is not the most satisfying meal. Flavor is good, but I wish the vegies were larger. I'd still recomend it though for some trail variety

"It's alright" 05/31/11

I'm a very picky eater and don't like a LOT of things, but I was able to eat this. I had to add more water than they suggested (just a bit more) and let it sit a bit longer (more than the suggested 13 minutes) for the rice to soften. I wasn't very hungry on my 2 day backpacking trip so I only had a few mouthfulls... too much for me and a friend to share, but it was light weight and flat so it was fine ing my pack. Plus I was able to zip it up and save a few more bites for the morning.

"Delicious" 03/08/11

My wife packed/cooked this meal during a camping trip and mistakenly offered me a bite. I'm not a vegetarian, however, I found this meal to be very tasteful and was delighted when my wife saved me a generous portion.
