The Women's Power Matic 200 GV Boot by Asolo is a rugged yet hi-tech Gore-Tex lined leather hiking boot. The new Asolo Power Matic sole is comprised of three different PU densities that are co injected and molded together. The high-density front portion secures and guarantees maximum stability. The medium-density heel reduces shock and resulting fatigue during take-off and landing. Further shock absorption is obtained through the four strategically placed low-density cylinders that are linked from the outsole to the mid sole Gripped with a dual-density molded rubber outsole produced in conjunction with Vibram, the arch area uses a very high-density rubber to maximize support over the long-haul while the balance of the outsole has self-cleaning lugs designed for optimum performance on varying types of terrain.

I bought these boots for my daughter, who tells me they're comfortable, supportive, and dry (when she doesn't wade too deep!). Without any real break-in period she's been through mud and lakes, backpacking with a moderate load for three days, and day-hiked with a light pack over rock and root-strewn trails and hills with no problems of any sort. Nice boot!

Magnificent design, ridiculously awesome comfort. Asolo comes up with another winner. The company has been known for producing some of the most popular backpacking boots on earth -- and with good reason. The Power Matic does not disappoint with the durable full-grain leather, vibram sole, and cushy insides, this shoe is made to go the distance. They proved to me to be some of greatest boots I've ever owned after headin into the wilderness with them for a month after only having them for a few days. NO BLISTERS or soreness, waaahoooo! Well, some soreness is a given when hiking 10 miles a day with a 70lb pack on my back for me anyways, I don't know about you Overall -- I love the boots. You

Needed some breaking in, but not as much as I thought. Great support and comfort. I love the pully system on the laces, as well as the waterproofness, of course. They are a little heavy at the end of the day, but what isn't? Asolo does it again. Great boots and I wouldn't trade them for a different pair. Wish I had them in brown though...Black doesn't really go with the rest of my gear.
"Best boot and manufacturer to ever hit the market! Put it on your gotta have gear list."

Hail to Asolo! Out of the box comfort...change the footbed though (as with all manufacturers). I think Asolo changed their last as I had to drop down a 1/2 size from the TPS520. I love the new lace pulley system but am not sure how it will do with mud and debris. I have always worn the TPS 520 and I will never stray from Asolo. Backpacking in the Rockies made easy with this product. Heavy but worth every ounce. Toebox is roomy and wide. The grey is a nice switch from the brown of the 520.
