The Arc'teryx Women's Patera Parka is a 3/4 length insulated coat designed to keep you warm and dry all winter long. The exterior is GORE-TEX® which is fully waterproof/windproof and impressively breathable. The insulation is a combination of synthetic Coreloft, strategically mapped in areas prone to moisture (hem, collar, sleeves and underarms), and 750 fill goose down on the core and sleeves for added warmth. I don't know what a patera is, but it must be the warmest, sleekest, cutest, most durable animal that's ever existed!(after a quick Google search it is now apparent that the patera isn't an animal at all. Too bad, I was already thinking of names for when I get one as a pet. I think I decided on Gabby)

I LOVE this coat so much! I always tend to be really cold so I wanted to get a parka that would keep me warm in the winter so that I could keep playing outside when the temperature drops. The Patera does a great job at keeping me warm. The quality of this product is unbeatable, I think it is going to last forever. I am 5'4 and 115 lbs, got the XS (I am always between XS and S in Arc'teryx's products) and it fits great. The parka hits about an inch above my knees. Also, it is way less bulky than many other coats I've tried on so you won't look like a Michelin man :) It looks super stylish and I get compliments on it all the time! It is definitely an expensive piece but I think it's worth every penny.
This is a very classy looking coat. I haven't been able to test it out in REALLY cold weather or wet weather yet, but for crisp early winter days around town, it's been great, if a little too warm.Very flattering cut and tailored looking.Yet to be seen if it's worth the money, but it seems versatile enough that you could get a lot of wear out of it.
