The Arc’teryx Women's Epsilon LT Hoody is a versatile softshell jacket for skiing the backcountry or hiking your favorite trails. The Epsilon delivers warmth when used as a midlayer and performs as a lightweight stand-alone jacket on mild days. A polyester grid fleece is found on the inside of the jacket that is soft against the skin, traps warm air, and wicks moisture away to keep you dry. Pull up the StormHood for helmet-compatible protection against a light rain and mild wind, just cinch it tight with the one-handed cords. The athletic fit allows for a baselayer underneath and a hardshell over top in the worst of weather. The stretchy fabric allows for all kinds of movement, even dancing on a mountain top.

ARC'TERYX ATHLETIC FIT: The Arc'teryx Athletic Fit garments are considered their "standard" fit and feature complex patterns that utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion and eliminate any excess bulk. Athletic fit styles are trimmer than Arc'teryx relaxed fit styles, but still offer room for a base layer, a light fleece mid-layer, and a synthetic or down filled mid-layer. Put simply, their Athletic Fit should fit true to size, but be sure to check out the size guide to learn how to calculate your body measurements before selecting a size.

You know that feeling you get when you leave your wallet at home? That's how I feel when I'm not wearing this jacket. It's an essential..perfect alone on warmer and slightly brisk days, but also a great shell when you need to throw some layers on underneath. It's breathable but warm, durably made but stretchy. The length and sleeve length are perfect, too, and there's pockets everywhere. I live in Montana and have used this for climbing, biking, hiking, going to class, fishing, flying airplanes, going out on weekend nights..really, everything. It's comfortable, flattering and well-suited for any activity you might get into. If you're on the fence about this jacket, don't be. Buy it!
