Roomy even for my XL large noggin! Usually, I find hats to be a snug fit, but this is just right and can easily be pulled down to cover the ears without feeling tight. Long enough for that great slouch look, or roll up to get extra warmth around the ears. Loved it so much that I bought a second in the Cracked Wheat color.
Love this hat, softness of acrylic with the warmth of wool! How can you lose?? Another great product from Arcteryx!! People don't realize how good their products are but when you're willing to drop the dough, you will never be disappointed. I'm a dark-color/earth-tone dresser and the cracked wheat color works perfect with my style!
It covers my head in such a lovely manner. It also sometimes teleports me to random places that turn out to be exactly where I want to be. Its kinda like the sorting hat from Harry Potter except cooler and less talkative. Has also been known to blind muggers or overly-aggresive wildlife with pure awesomeness. October is my favorite month.
"Awesome looking, super warm hat totally worth the money"
This hat is a solid buy. It's looks about as cool as they come, and it's super warm to boot. It's totally built for using in the outdoors and not just looking like you like to spend time in the outdoors, like some of arc'teryx other stuff. I highly recommend this hat.
"Most Comfortable cold weather hat ever!"
The 50/50 combo in this hat make it extremely comfortable against the skin. The extra long style is excellent for pulling it down over the forehead for extra warmth or doubling it over for a snugger fit. The blue stripe colors go well with just about all dark colors. It has a great array of colors that make it most appealing and stylish to me. I love this cap.
"Great warmth for those chilly hikes and causes double-takes on the streets."
I love love love this beanie. I'm a fan of the oversized/floppy style of beanie but one problem I face is that they usually fall off my nog when I'm running all over the place, but not this one! Arcteryx has always impressed me on their quality jackets and harnesses for extreme wear and precise craftsmanship so I was curious on how a smaller and more affordable clothing item of theirs would hold up. I work at an outdoor adventure camp in New Mexico and I've taken this hat bouldering, climbing, skiing, you name it. Of course it is a beanie with extra weight in the caboose so when inclined on an overhang it has the tendency to slip off, but if you fold-up the brim to more of a stocking cap, it stays on even more snuggly. As for style, I mean come one, those high contrast stripes just don't quit. Another sick product from Arcteryx.
