I own three of these now and I've just bought another.Wear them anywhere, although my wife insists on callin g them underwear!I even use them under a drysuyit for SCUBA diving.
I now have four of these tops, 2 in L and 2 in XL; the larges are great by themselves or with a thin base layer, the X-larges are great w/ a longsleeve underneath. I'm about 6' and 185 lbs (athletic/muscular build) and I love the fit and as w/ all Arcteryx products, best possible quality. You can't go wrong and you'll get tons of compliments.
The arcteryx rho ar top is incredibly soft (softer than my old marmot power stretch top), incredibly warm, and of course like all of arcteryx looks great. my only complaint is when I put it on over a tshirt it seems to bunch a bit and twist my tshirt sleeves rather uncomfortably. I'm hoping this will go away over time and maybe if the arms stretch out a bit more, and i'm sure it's not near as much of a problem with a technical baselayer. incredible product and at a comparable price to similar products from other companies (mtn hardwear, marmot, etc).

This works great as a mid layer during cool weather hikes or by itself. It is a close fit, so your base layer needs to be snug or it will bunch up when you put this on, which would be very uncomfortable. It looks great if you are slim or buff, but it won't hide gut.
This top fits great, great warmth to weight ratio and great range of movement. I have two and will be getting another one. I am 6'0" and 185 lbs, the L fits snug but very comfortable, I also have an XL that I can wear another layer under it and not be bulky under a shell.
this is my second one just in a different color. makes a perfect layer under my arcteryx hercules hoody. very warm and form fitting which i love. able to move around comfortably still. chest pocket is used constantly, more than i thought i would. highly recommend. worth the price, as always with arcteryx get 2!!

I tell you this one should be worn as a mid-layer.I am dido w/ Simon that the fleece is a very worm , yet lightweight. Another 5 + kudos for Arcteryx , and don’t mixed up w/ an Arteryx Men’s RHO LT.Je vous le dis ce dernier devrait être porté comme un examen à mi-couche. Je suis avec Simon Dido que le voile est un ver très, mais légère. Un autre 5 + pour Arcteryx gloire, et ne pas mélanger avec un Arteryx hommes RHO LT.Andy

I love this. Should probably be worn as a mid-layer. I ordered a large and it fits me (6'4" 190Lbs 8%BF) very well, not exactly skin hugging in all places, but allows for a base layer to be worn underneath. It is so lightweight I feel like I don't even have it on, except for the fact it is in the top five softest materials of all time. Extremely well made and worth the cash. Covers my wrists too!
