ARC'TERYX ATHLETIC FIT: The Arc'teryx Athletic Fit garments are considered their "standard" fit and feature complex patterns that utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion and eliminate any excess bulk. Athletic fit styles are trimmer than Arc'teryx relaxed fit styles, but still offer room for a base layer, a light fleece mid-layer, and a synthetic or down filled mid-layer. Put simply, their Athletic Fit should fit true to size, but be sure to check out the size guide to learn how to calculate your body measurements before selecting a size.

"Fantastic product at any price. Or none."
I stumbled into owning this jacket (Don't hate me, Moosejaw) and I haven't taken any other jacket camping this season. The fit is good you could wear it to the opera and yet allows for dynamic movements with no restriction. See the many other positives for specifics.
As with all Arcteryx products, you will not be disappointed. I love the fit of this lighweight jacket, so I am planning to step up and order the Gamma MX shortly. This is a good 3-season jacket, but a little light for winter.
I ordered this jacket in size L. I'm 5'11 and 189 lbs. This is my new go to jacket. It really fits me perfect. Can wear up to a long sleeve shirt underneath. Just what I wanted. A lightweight, wind/weather resistant jacket I can wear fall to spring. Very well made. Looks great. Falls in line with my other Arcteryx stuff. YEAH!!
Made really well - no frills, does what a light jacket should.Practically waterproof from the limited exposure to rain i've worn it in.Comfortable, good athletic fit, etc.Overall, I would recommend if you want a light, not warm, jacket for aerobic outdoor activity or walking around in warmer fall/cooler spring temps.
My son has had his Arcteryx winter-weight jacket for quite a while and loves it, so wanted this light-weight jacket for warmer weather. He likes the style and comfort. I'm impressed with the quality and easy care! Great jacket!
I've owned the Gamma LT for about a month now. It fits well and it very comfortable. I've worn it while mountain biking, running a few times, and around town casually. I have virtually zero complaints about the jacket thus far. For casual wear, the sleeves on the jacket are slightly long and I find them bunching up at the wrist. However, when wearing it while biking I actually liked the longer sleeves as they don't ride up when your arms are outstretched. It has a pretty true "athletic" style fit and is trim around the underarms. It's warm down to temps around +40F, after that you'll need more layers underneath. It handles wind surprisingly well being so thin. Highly recommend.
"Sweet Jacket, Fit and Finish are Excellent!!"
I heard Arcteryx was the bomb about a year ago, but never pulled the trigger on one, boy am I glad I finally did after snagging one on sale! The fit and finish are incredible, the jacket oozes quality. I was a bit preturbed to see that this was made in China, as are a majority of current Arcteryx offerings (or so I hear), but some good products can come from there, and this is one! It is a great light jacket, I don't anticipate it doing too well in anything less than 40 degrees or so, but this will be an everyday wear for me in the mild winter days. Very pleased and I looks forward to adding more Arcteryx to the wardrobe.
