The Arc'teryx Men's Cerium LT is the jacket I am most anticipating this winter. Weighing a slight 8.6 oz, this is the lightest piece in Arc'teryx's down collection. This super warm mid-layer strategically maps down and synthetic insulation to utilize the natural benefits of both. Coreloft™ synthetic insulation, which keeps you warm even when wet, is placed in moisture-prone areas (hem, collar, sleeves and underarms) and the core is stuffed with 850 fill goose down. When using the Cerium LT as a pillow, I'll have to make sure to keep a synthetic zone in my drool-heavy areas. Lightweight and compressible, this jacket effortlessly adds versatility to your layer system or on its own in cool, dry conditions.

This jacket is maybe the warmest jacket I have ever owned. I bought it with the intention of wearing it under my Arcteryx Alpha shell, but ended up wearing it by itself most of the time. It is very warm, but if there is any wind you will for sure feel it, but that is why you wear a shell. Having this thing on under a shell will make you basically indestructible.
I absolutely love this jacket. It looks very cool, and is a great mid-layer. For size, it is rather on the slim side. I wear a size 39 jacket, and I got this in a M - which is snug. I love that fact that it compresses down into a small bag (contained in the front left pocket), which is smaller than my fist. The compressibility and light weight make it perfect to stuff in a backpack. Also very comfortable to wear in a sleeping bag.
"Fantastic light jacket for both mild and harsh winter."
I have been burned with similar jackets as far as quality and fit but Arc'teryx Cerium LT has gone above and beyond. The fit is true to size but still leaves room for full mobility and several layers...not that you need it. So far, I haven't had any need for anything thicker. I plan on taking it skiing next weekend so I'll report back with anything out of the ordinary but I have to say so far 0 buyers remorse!
Looked a long time for a good looking warm casual jacket. Finally found it! 6'3" 195#, athletic frame, and Large fits perfect. This jacket is so warm. I will use it as mid-layer skiing, but so far I have just used it to wear around town on really cold days. Feels great, fits great and does the job.
I bought this looking for something that would be good on a hiking trip. I was going rock-climbing and it was perfect. I was kept warm the whole time and I could still climb comfortably. Very good coat, recommended for climbing or hiking.
Bought this jacket as a mid layer for my arcteryex beta ar. I have been wearing this on its own in 25 degree weather and it has kept me really warm. The jacket is deceiving because it is so thin and light, yet performs so well. Really like it so far! - See more at: http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_Arcteryx-Mens-Cerium-LT-Jacket_1615018_10208_10000001_-1_MEMBER_RELATED#pd_addtocart

This is a great jacket. You can use it in a surprisingly wide range of temperatures, including indoors. You can basically wear it wherever you want, and it is extremely comfortable. If you are going out in heavy rain, you might want to wear a rain coat over it, but it is fine for light to moderate moisture exposure. Some people might find that it is a little too large in the waist area, but it is not very noticeable. For someone who is about 160 lbs, 6' tall, and a 32" waist, a large should fit well. It is also fairly wind-resistant. I have used it in 0 degree fahrenheit weather and been fine. Anything below that you would need a few more layers underneath, however. Definitely buy this jacket.
Its not good looking, but who cares? You'll probably wear it underneath something else to keep you warm.I prefer this jacket without the hood because I use it primarily for skiing and wear it under the shell. Also, when I take out the bike and wear it underneath my leather jacket it's great!I'm 1,84m, 80kg and wear an M.
"Warm, comfortable and sleek. Excellent jacket for the winter as a layer or on its own."
This is a very warm and light jacket with a nice athletic fit. I’m 6ft, 160lbs and a medium fits perfectly. Used daily last winter in Cleveland during the polar vortex and was nice and warm without feeling bulky. On extremely windy days it helps to have a shell on top, but this will stand up just fine on its own in most conditions (and I get cold easily). I’ve had some feather loss, but nothing to be concerned about, yet. One issue I’ve noticed is the filling in the lower back area migrates to the sides of the jacket and must coaxed back from time to time. The cut of the arms is nice in that I can raise my arm without lifting the jacket. Slim fit allows great layering. Overall pleased with purchase.
Honestly, I didn't expect much warmth given the weight and thickness of this jacket, but throw it on, wait a moment, and you'll be pleasantly surprised. DWR finish that sheds the water is a great touch (though I'm not sure I'd use this in a storm of any kind) and the face fabric shows no signs of use despite being worn constantly this winter. I pair it with a GoreTex shell if its wet out as well as cold, and couldn't be happier. I've had no loss of down, and don't miss the bottom draw synch cord as much as I thought I would. Cut is slim, and there isn't an abundant amount of room for layering underneath, though I can fit a base layer or two without problem.
