Great hat for bumming around town. Warm enough for the cold Michigan winter nights, but thin enough to stash in a pocket when you're out for a bite to eat. I think the Habanero green is a great choice, some people might think that you're trying too hard to be cool. It'll probably find a home in my ski jacket when I go out to Utah next week, so when the helmet comes off, this guy goes on - great way to cover that helmet hair!
This is a great hat for everyday use, but not so much for skiing. It keeps your head relatively warm- well warmer than if you didn't wear a hat- but it doesn't cover very much of the ears, and definitely will not keep them from freezing. Overall, great hat, but don't try wearing it skiing.
"There's a chance this beanie will change your life (though it's slim...)"
This is a pretty wonderful headpiece. I was intrigued by the habanero color and the fact that it looked like the material of a sweater (kind of like Patagonia's Better Sweater material, but in the funky apple-meets-pepper color). The inside is a fleecy dream. Keeps the noggin warm and keeps the wearer looking sensual. Kind of.
This hat is the sh-t. I have had this for 2 years now and I absolutely love it. I have used it while skiing, climbing, biking, and just rollin around town. Not only does it keep you warm and comfortable, but it looks good. The wife keeps trying to steal it. Highly recommended.
"Good looking but not super warm around the ears!"
This is a great lightweight beanie, the fabric is excellent - breathes well, dries fast ans looks great. For me the downside is that the beanie does not fully cover my ears which are not big - at least I don't think so....
