The Bird Head Toque Beanie by Arcteryx is built with Super Fine 50/50 Merino Wool/acrylic blend with a soft, thermal fleece under banding, four dart construction with knitted in bird logo and embroidered word logo.

Picked this one up on sale. I didn't really think there was much that could be done to improve on the simple beanie design, but then they put a bird on it.

"Warm hat without the bulk" 02/08/13

This hat is small, fits snug and I have a fairly small head, luckily not an issue for me. Fleece lining around the ears is nice, pretty warm hat considering how thin it is. Good hat if you're going to wear a helmet over it.

"a Great match to other Arcteryx gear" 12/18/12

I got this beanie just so I can be an Arcteryx snob. It's not because it's beautifully made, nor because it matches my other arcteryx gear, nor because arcteryx makes some of the best gear out there.... it's really just beause I love being an Arcteryx snob.. Ok, all joking aside, I saw this beanie in few of Arcteryx gear introduction movies on youtube made by Arcteryx, and it sold me simply because it matched Aphix hoody which I happened to buy from Moosejaw few weeks ago. My co-worker happened to have the same beanie and I have seen it in person and loved the quality and how it fits on my head, so it was a no brainer to get myself one ASAP!
