| | The Moosejaw shop in Rochester Hills, MI is in The Village of Rochester Hills, which is on the northeast corner of Walton and Adams. It's across the street from the place I buy my groceries and the coffee shop where my ex-bf used to work. So awkward. The Rochester Moosejaw store carries some pretty sweet gear for camping and climbing, including all the rock climbing equipment you could ever need ever, tents, sleeping pads, sleeping bags, hammocks, cookware, and stoves. Plus like all the nicest people on the planet work there. They've also got sweet jackets and outerwear from brands like Arc'teryx, The North Face, Patagonia, and Mountain Hardwear. The last time I was in the Moosejaw shop in Rochester, I had an in depth discussion about spirit animals and the benefits of neti pots. That is all. | I was recently looking for a pair of hiking boots. I stopped in an expensive, high end store and received good enough service. Next I stopped at Moosejaw, and the difference in service was dramatic. I would say Mark and Eric in the Rochester Hills store provided exceptional service - the difference was night and day. The high end store had a sales approach followed by service. Mark and Eric put service first. It made the experience outstanding. Paul | I'd just like to let you know that the Rochester Moosejaw store, well, it's the best. Better than any other company in the category IMO, as well as any other MJ stores. Not to be mean to the other ones, it's just really hard to beat a team like Randy, Eric, Mark, and everyone else at that store. (whose names escape me of course... sorry!). Eric has listened to my every question, taken care of me as a customer in ways I thought obsolete these days, and EVEN LENT ME (yeah idk what he was thinking) his fancy water proof camera for a Caribbean cruise. You should give him a fat raise. Ooh and Randy played an epic game of baseball one day with myself and 2 kids! I hope that gets him trouble... oh wait I forgot, MJ has the best goal in the world: "Fun" so he'll probably get praise for that... shoot good times...
