Hi. At age 5, I got my first of many drum sets and began my love of playing music. I love playing and listening to all types of music. I never watch movies, and have only seen one or two in the past decade. I just don't understand when people quote movies... I grew up a boy scout, and was the first in my troop to earn my balloon hat making badge. That should be apparent from my picture. My love for the outdoors came at an early age and was fostered by my skill of climbing trees to rescue cats in the neighborhood where I grew up.. I have been working for Moosejaw for almost 5,840 days, and I even have a conference room at our headquarters names after me!

Jackets Footwear Climbing Backpacking Clothing

Do you ever look at a ballpark hotdog in a bun and wonder why it's wearing a jacket? I do the same thing when I see coffee cups in coffee sleeves. I think to myself, "My cup is wearing a jacket." If we're giving jackets to hotdogs and coffee cups, we might as well give them to ourselves as well. Thankfully, Moosejaw will hook you up with the best of the best from Arc'teryx, Patagonia and The North Face. From lightweight fleeces to waterproof down coats, we've got you covered. Literally. Grosse Pointers have a special place in their hearts for jackets - black, fleecy ones. So don't worry, you guys, we've got tons of them.

If you live in Grosse Pointe or have ever been to Grosse Pointe in the summer, then you know all about fish-flies. If you don't know about fish-flies, Google them. They are really sweet and cute. My ex-boyfriend loves to stomp on them with his giant boots from Merrell. I don't understand why. Must be a guy thing. Anyway, he replaces his boots a lot because the wings from these fish-flies get stuck on them. He gets the boots from the Grosse Pointe shop and lucky for me, he takes me with him and gets me a pair of TOMS. He doesn't even ask to use my discount. What a gentleman. Anyways, while my boyfriend continues to stomp on these fish-flies, I check out the other types of footwear we carry like sandals by Reef and Keen. We also carry other brands like The North Face too. I wonder if he will ever grow out of this "I like to stomp on fish-flies stage". I hope so.

"Climbing is not for the faint of heart" says every climber I've ever talked to. I usually just nod my head and act impressed and intimidated. News flash, people - I'm not impressed or intimidated. That's because I have fainted*, and I am still a pretty decent climber. *I fainted while giving my dog her heartworm medicine. The smell of the crushed up pill in vanilla pudding made me faint.
