Detroit shop is located at 1275 Woodward Ave. We recently opened our doors in Detroit and couldn't feel more at home. Coincidentally, we opened around the time Ryan Gosling was rumored to be staying in Detroit. It's not a coincidence. Anyways, our Detroit shop is not only filled with great gear and apparel, but it has a huge selection of "Detroit" merchandise. If you're like me, from time-to-time you get sick of wearing your Detroit Tigers t-shirt. Our Moosejaw Detroit shirts give you some variety to your wardrobe and maybe you will stop being known as "the guy in the Tiger t-shirt". Just a thought.

Moosejaw and Core Detroit are teaming up together to kick off summer by hosting a beer night at our Detroit shop. The event is on Friday, June 28th from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. It occurred to us that there is nothing better than the taste of beer on a summer night, with the exception of a bottomless waffle bar any day of the week. Anyways, come to the Detroit shop, get a free beer and check out the newest Moosejaw product. Or don't, but why wouldn't you want to come?

P.S. You have to have a valid license that says you're over 21 to have a beer from us. Sorry for being so mean about it.

Jackets Footwear Climbing Backpacking Clothing

Whenever I want to sound smart, I say that I majored in Jackets. It sounds like a really long acronym. People never second guess me. Anyways, the Moosejaw shop in Detroit has quite a few jackets for you to wear when you are heading downtown. If you decide to go kayaking in the Detroit River or perhaps walking around Eastern Market, we've got you covered. We have a jacket for every occasion. A down coat by The North Face or a lightweight zip-up by Patagonia, we have a wide variety of brands and styles. Ask a shop employee and they will tell you what looks best and also what they would recommend for your excursion or day-date. They can also offer you a word to tell people you majored in to make you sound smart.

Being downtown can get tricky at times, especially with directions and footwear. Sometimes I get lost just because my feet don't listen to what I tell them to do. I try to go to class, but my feet take me straight to The Well. It's the strangest thing and yet I have no interest in getting it checked out. Anyways, if you have feet with a mind of their own like I do, then discipline them enough to have them take you to Moosejaw shop. We have a huge selection of shoes that you can wear if you're feeling adventurous or just want to go for a walk around Cork Town. With brands like Merrell, TOMS, Vibram and many more...your feet won't be complaining.

Last time I was downtown, I saw a lot of little peeps carrying around backpacks. I couldn't figure out what they were doing. There aren't any trails around downtown, unless you consider the alley behind the Fox Theater a trail. They all got into this big yellow car too. So strange. Anyways, if you decide that you want to look like these peeps, head over to Moosejaw. We will hook you up with a backpack for school or the trail. Brands like Patagonia and The North Face help us out. They offer a wide variety of styles and colors, that way you aren't wearing the same one as your teacher.

Whether you're going ice skating at Campus Martius or heading down to a Tiger game, check out the Detroit Moosejaw shop and you will totally find what you need. The Moosejaw shop will make sure you're dressed appropriate for your date. We might even throw that emergency breath spray in one of your pockets, if you're lucky. We've got brands like Billabong, Icebreaker, and Prana that will give you some different options depending on your style and the weather. I think I might try to get Kate Upton to go ice-skating with me this year. What do you think JV will say about that?
